MY STORY
Welcome!
Sue Russ is a glass artist driven by the connection between imagination, nature, and the changeability of light through glass. Drawing inspiration from the ocean, country landscapes, and always the trees is where she gets her creativity flowing.

With glass her preferred medium Sue works in techniques of leadlight, kiln fusing, copper foiling, and lampwork beads.
Recently attending a masterclass in Staining (painting and kiln firing) glass, she continues to develop and add new skills in her never ending journey of glass art.

In her quaint little heritage gallery shop located at Harrisville, Sue loves to connect with her customers both returning and new. From her home studio where all the magic happens, she also teaches leadlighting and copperfoil work. Here, she is surrounded by trees and mountains, kept company by the dogs and sometimes getting interrupted by the antics of Charles the bull.

"Glass is amazing, it reflects and shines and changes throughout the day as the light moves. I love experimenting and creating and bringing it to life"
